1. General Terms
Service Description
Kuranda Transfers provides private transportation and tour services for individuals and groups, offering fixed rates, pre-booking options, and a commitment to reliability and customer satisfaction. Kuranda Transfers is a pre-pay service.
Acceptance of Terms
By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms, please do not proceed with booking a service.
2. Bookings & Cancellations
Booking Confirmation
All bookings are subject to confirmation. You will receive a confirmation via SMS and email.
Payment Terms
- Bookings made more than 28 days in advance: deposit at booking, balance due 7 days prior.
- Bookings within 28 days: full payment at booking unless otherwise arranged.
Cancellation Policy — Transfers
- 24+ hours notice: 100% refund.
- 8–24 hours notice: 80% refund.
- Less than 2 hours or no-show: no refund.
Cancellation Policy — Tours
- 7+ days notice: 100% refund.
- 24 hours – 7 days: 80% refund.
- Less than 24 hours or no-show: no refund.
3. Pricing
Fares are calculated via our quote engine on the booking form. Enter your pick-up and destination for an accurate fare based on the information provided. Special offers and discounts may be available from time to time.
4. Payments
We accept payments via Stripe, including:
- Credit/Debit Cards
- Digital Wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
- Online Payment Links
Customers receive automatic reminders via SMS and email when payment is due. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in service cancellation.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate booking details, including flight information for airport pickups.
- Notify us immediately of delays, cancellations, or changes to travel plans.
- Waiting fees may apply if the driver waits more than 10 minutes past pickup time.
6. Liability
Kuranda Transfers is not responsible for delays caused by extreme weather, road closures, traffic conditions, or vehicle breakdowns. In such events, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative transport or reschedule. Customers are responsible for their personal belongings.
7. Child Safety
Queensland law allows children under 7 to travel without a child seat, but we provide AS/NZS 1754 certified child seats for added safety. Please request a child seat or booster seat at the time of booking. A small fee applies.
